80년대 팝송-Nowhere Fast (영화 Streets of Fire)

오늘은 분위기를 바꿔서 신나는 80년대 팝송.

 

84년에 국도 극장에서 개봉한 Streets of Fire.

당시 고딩들로부터는 폭발적인 인기를 끌었지만 사실 내용은 그저그런...

나도 사촌 동생과 같이 봤는데 이 음악 나올 때 객석은 완전 열광.

아무튼 B급 영화치고는 OST가 좋았는데 그 중 Nowhere Fast가 아주 폭발적.

 

그래서 오히려 영화보다 이 음악이 더 열광적이었던 영화.

하루에도 몇 번씩 라디오로 이 노래가 나왔던....

 

다이언 레인이 이 영화로 인해 한국팬들이 엄청 생겼지만

남자 주인공(마이클 파레)은 연기도 별로, 그 이후 행보도 별로.

오히려 폭주족 대장으로 나온 윌리엄 데포가 나중에 더 인기를 끌게 되었죠.

윌리엄의 청춘 시절 모습도 감상 할 수 있습니다.

 

대부분 눈치를 채시겠지만 다이언 레인은 그냥 립싱크.

하지만 무대에서 노래 부르는 장면은 역시 배우.

 

코로나 때문에 집에 계시는 분들은

오래간만에 몸 좀 흔들어 보심도 좋을 듯...

 

 

 

가사 부분은 몇 군데를 살펴봤지만

아무래도 번역이 있는 게 나을 것 같아서 러쉬크로우의 팝송 번역/해석 에서 가져옴.
